Alynia represents employees in civil rights actions against employers in courts throughout California, and before the California Labor Commissioner and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She is an energetic attorney and skilled negotiator who is known for her creative problem-solving skills. An agile quick thinker, Alynia puts in the time to discern and understand intricate issues and build strong supportive relationships with her clients.
Alynia has a longstanding commitment to preservation of diversity and maintenance of social, economic and racial equity. She has focused on practicing law that furthers social justice goals by working with plaintiff-side law firms, nonprofits, and social impact startups. Prior to joining Avloni Law, Alynia served as a Neighborhood Law Corps Attorney for the Oakland City Attorney’s Office, where she investigated, filed, litigated and settled civil rights and public safety cases on behalf of the City and State, and for the benefit of the neighborhood community.
